At Achievements Learning Center, the driving force for our curriculum decision is based on research from Early Childhood Education. We respect each child’s changing capabilities and have faith in their ability to be self-directed learners. Our goal is to create eager learners by providing concrete activities that are relevant to the lives of young children. Teachers create opportunities for children to expand their thinking through play, music, art, physical activities, and experiences in math and science in an environment which is rich in quality children’s literature.
At Achievements Learning Center, we use the Creative Curriculum that is developmentally appropriate and ensures a variety of learning experiences. This is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum that features exploration and discovery as a way of learning. The Foundation is six knowledge-building volumes that help teachers set up a high-quality learning environment and build a thorough understanding of best practices, so they’re ready to support every child, every day. Along with that, the Daily Resources offer step-by-step guidance in the form of Teaching Guides and additional daily teaching tools that help teachers plan and manage their days so they’re always supporting children’s learning and development and promoting positive outcomes.
